1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use constitute a binding agreement between you and the operator of AI Girlfriend (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, creating an account for, or using AI Girlfriend, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by any policies referenced here, including our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the app or any related services.

2. Eligibility and Adult-Only Access

AI Girlfriend is intended solely for adults who are at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and are legally able to enter into these Terms.

We do not knowingly permit minors to create accounts or use the service. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we may suspend or terminate access and delete associated data as required by law.

3. Description of the Service

AI Girlfriend is an AI companion application that allows users to interact with fictional AI characters through text messages, AI-generated voice notes, AI-generated photos, personalized conversations, multiple personality styles, and push notifications. The app stores conversation history locally on your device to provide continuity across sessions and may offer subscription-based features through Apple's in-app purchase system.

4. Fictional Characters and AI-Generated Content

The characters, conversations, images, voice notes, and related outputs shown in AI Girlfriend are fictional and generated by automated systems. They are not real people and should not be understood as evidence of a real relationship, real-world identity, or real-world intent.

AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, inconsistent, or otherwise unreliable. Generated messages, images, and voice notes may contain factual errors, unintended content, or outputs that do not reflect any human judgment or review.

5. No Human Interaction and No Professional Advice

You acknowledge that you are interacting with AI systems, not with human beings. We do not guarantee that any response, image, or voice note comes from a person, and no human interaction is promised or implied by the service.

You understand that the service may feel personal and that emotional attachment may occur. Even so, the app is provided solely for entertainment and companionship purposes and must not be treated as a substitute for human relationships, professional care, or real-world support.

AI Girlfriend is provided for entertainment and companionship purposes only. The app and its content are not a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, relationship, or other professional advice. You should not rely on the service for emergency assistance, crisis intervention, or any decision that requires professional judgment.

6. Account Registration and Security

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account using Firebase Authentication or another supported sign-in method. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account credentials confidential.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized access or suspected security breach.

7. Subscriptions, Billing, and Apple In-App Purchases

Certain features of AI Girlfriend may require an active paid subscription. Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's in-app purchase system and may be managed through your Apple Account settings. We may also use Superwall to present subscription offers and help process and validate subscription entitlements.

Unless otherwise stated at the point of purchase, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until canceled. By starting a subscription, you authorize Apple or its payment partners to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis.

Subscription price, billing period, renewal terms, and any free trial or introductory offer will be presented at the point of sale. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial, if applicable, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where required by law and disclosed at purchase.

If you purchased through Apple, you can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings. To avoid renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, or as otherwise stated by Apple at the point of purchase.

For App Store downloads and in-app purchases, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If these Terms conflict with Apple's applicable terms for App Store-distributed software or Apple in-app purchases, Apple's terms control to the extent of that conflict.

8. Refund Policy

All sales are final to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Because subscriptions are purchased through Apple, refund requests are generally handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's applicable policies. We do not control Apple's refund decisions and cannot guarantee that a refund will be granted.

If you believe you were charged in error, you should review the purchase receipt and follow the refund or cancellation procedures made available by Apple and your Apple Account settings.

9. User Responsibilities

• You must use the app only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
• You are responsible for any content you submit, upload, or generate through the app.
• You must use the service respectfully and must not attempt to manipulate, harass, impersonate, or exploit the system or other users.
• You must not rely on the service for emergency support or time-sensitive decision-making.

10. Prohibited Uses

You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to:

• Use the app in violation of any law, regulation, or Apple policy.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, interfere with, or attempt to access non-public portions of the service.
• Use the app to generate, request, or distribute unlawful, harmful, defamatory, harassing, exploitative, or abusive content.
• Upload personal information of another person without authorization.
• Attempt to bypass subscription controls, rate limits, safety systems, or usage restrictions.
• Use the service to impersonate a real person or to mislead others about the nature of the AI characters.

11. User Content and License

If you submit text, prompts, images, profile information, feedback, or other content through the app (“User Content”), you retain any rights you may have in that User Content, subject to the license you grant us below.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, process, display, and otherwise use your User Content solely to operate, maintain, secure, improve, and provide the service, including generating AI responses, voice notes, and images in response to your use of the app.

12. Intellectual Property

The app, including its code, design, branding, interfaces, compiled output, models, workflows, and related content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no license or right is granted to you by implication or otherwise.

13. Service Availability and Changes

We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue any feature of the service at any time, with or without notice, including any AI personality, notification feature, generation capability, or subscription plan. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

We may also modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice in the app or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the service after the effective date of revised Terms means you accept those changes.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, access, or subscription at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, used the service unlawfully, or acted in a way that creates risk to us, our users, or third parties.

You may stop using the service at any time and may delete your account through the app or by using the support form, subject to any in-app account deletion tools we provide.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

We do not warrant that AI outputs will be accurate, complete, current, safe, or suitable for any particular purpose.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of AI Girlfriend and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100), whichever is greater, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the operator of AI Girlfriend from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your misuse of the service.

18. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in your jurisdiction of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
